Brennen Ernst
Jazz, Blues, Country
"...and it was clear he was off and running." - The New York Times (on Brennen's music)
Originally from Leesburg, VA, multi-instrumentalist Brennen Ernst has had a keen interest in older styles of American music since first hearing the music of Scott Joplin at age eight. After being exposed to local bluegrass and old-time music, he began playing a variety of instruments, including guitar, banjo, and stride piano. He first performed professionally at age sixteen, and has since played across North America and Europe in a number of different acts since. Brenden currently resides in Philadelphia, PA, where he can be found performing and recording in a variety of different genres, including hot jazz, swing, bluegrass, classic country, old-time, and ragtime music.
Thank you for the music!
Many thanks to Sam Ash Music Stores for their support through the years.
